[30,000 m² Elephant Upper Town Center
In the Oberstadt area, customers can find over 30,000 m2 of supermarkets and large chains in the EOC, the elephant-Oberstadtcentrum. Here, the famous elephant shoes were made for years. Nearly 600 free parking spaces allow for quick shopping and if you still feel like a little trip into the past, you can visit the shoe museum in the former administrative building of the factory.

Off the well-known shopping miles Königsallee, Old Town and Clarstadt urban neighborhoods have established themselves in some parts of the city. Especially on the Loretto street in Unterbilk and between Acker- and Birkenstraße in Flingern, lovers of individual trend products will find what they are looking for. If you like it less expensive and just want to fill up your wardrobe, is on the Schadowstraße in good hands. It is one of the top-selling and most visited shopping street in Germany. Numerous department stores and shops line both sides of the street, which connects directly to the Königsallee. Königsallee
Pure luxury - the Königsallee
It is considered the most exclusive kilometer of Germany, a trademark of Düsseldorf and is a must for every visitor: the renowned Königsallee, also affectionately called "Kö". On the splendor boulevard are the branches of all renowned noble designers at home, even high-class jewelers, perfumeries, porcelain and antique shops leave hardly a luxury wish unfulfilled. In the shopping malls on and near the Kö can also be window shopping on rainy days. Conversely, on sunny days: just out! Sitting in one of the sidewalk cafes, you can easily watch strollers.
